I am a mixed media artist with a background in teaching. I draw my inspiration from nature and my surroundings. After graduating with an arts degree, I trained as specialist Art and Design educator. I have been teaching adults and children for eight years. I have experience in a wide range of media including ceramics, printmaking, graphic design and photography. I continue to teach young people and adults and I have now established my own studio in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside.

RESIDENTIAL POTTERY WEEKENDS
Get your hands dirty with a weekend of pottery. Two days of learning key skills required to hand build and throw with clay.
By the end of the course you should be able to transform a lump of clay into a finished usable product of your own design.

The aim of the course is to teach the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel:
Learn how to centre on the wheel
Learn how to create a basic shape
Learn how to pull a handle
Trim your piece ready for the biscuit firing.

If you are interested in having a go at a throw or creating in clay, I can offer 1:1 studio sessions.
WORKSHOPS
I can offer workshops from my home, or travel to deliver workshops focusing on hand building in clay for adults and children. (Maximum 8 people)
